Funds are held securely and only released once the buyer confirms receipt and condition — or automatically after the 48-hour inspection window if no dispute is opened. Neither party can touch the money mid-trade. Trades are paid in the app only — deals paid outside Sniffy aren't protected.

Disputes are reviewed by the Sniffy team using the chat, photos, boxing and unboxing videos, tracking and batch codes. The money stays held until it's decided, and the decision is binding. Did everything right and still got burned? Request a Protection Vault review from the dispute.
All trade conversations happen inside Sniffy, so every negotiation is on record. Report or block anyone from the thread and the team reviews it. Messages arranging Venmo, Cash App, Zelle or PayPal are blocked — Sniffy trades are paid in-app only.
