Sniffy operates a strict three-strike policy. Dishonest behavior has no place in the community — and no second chances after the third strike.
What Earns a Strike
- Listing a fragrance you do not own or cannot ship
- Sending an empty box, wrong item, or tampered bottle
- Misrepresenting fill level, batch code, or condition
- Ghosting a confirmed trade (no shipping after 5 days)
- Attempting to move transactions off-platform to avoid escrow
- Harassment, threats, or abusive communication
- Fake reviews or review manipulation
Consequences
Strike 1: Warning issued. Trade suspended pending review. Visible on your trust profile.
Strike 2: 30-day listing suspension. Existing listings hidden. Ongoing trades reviewed.
Strike 3: Permanent ban. Account closed. Funds held pending any open disputes.
Appeals
You may appeal a strike within 14 days of issuance by emailing support@sniffy.io with evidence. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.
Reporting
To report a bad actor, use the "Report" button in your trade chat or email support@sniffy.io with your trade ID and a description of the issue.
